Research

SEEDS members have been actively working on plant and invertebrate identification & cataloguing, restoration of degraded habitat, camera-scoping burrows to document burrow occupancy and commensal species activity, a mark-recapture study of the resident tortoise population, and much more. We hope to continue to provide similar hands-on experiences to our undergraduates and community members, and are excited about SEEDS new future at Florida Atlantic University.
